With over 60,000 miles traveled by air, countless road trips, a sail across the ocean, a handful of train excursions, endless journeys on public transit and way too many miles to count of walking, 2013 is a blessing and an opportunity one could only dream of. I am beyond amazed, overjoyed and appreciative of the travel experiences I was able to have. I conquered more in a year than many do in a lifetime and for that I am greatly fortunate. So, it is only fitting to recap the year by highlighting my favorite destinations. Since most of my time was spent in Europe, here are my 2013 Best European Cities.
